For months and without money. No nightly rent yet: in Vietnam, letting to tourists by the night is a business: registration, public-order and fire-safety requirements.

Rent — when you need a place of your own for a few nights or for months. Without money — a stay with your people, or an exchange: for a home, for looking after a house, for sessions.

    A home for the length of a course, in return for sessions for the host.

The rule

Without money means no money at all: not for cleaning, not “for linen”. A compulsory payment makes it rent.

How it works

Four steps to the keys

  1. Find it on the map

    City, dates, form of stay. Every home shows its district on the map and what to do nearby.

  2. A request to the host

    Dates, how many of you, a few words about yourself. The host answers within 48 hours — there is no instant booking here.

  3. Confirmation and address

    The host confirms — and the exact address and contacts open up. Until then the map shows only the district.

  4. Check-in

    A look around, the keys, the house rules. Rent goes to the host at check-in, after you see the home. No transfers before arrival.

How money works here

Money, plainly

Listing is free

Putting a home on the map costs nothing. There is no paid promotion: a higher place in search is not for sale.

Now — zero on both sides

AbsoHome takes nothing: neither from the host nor from the guest. No money passes through the platform.

Payment at check-in

Rent goes to the host on the day of arrival, after a look around. The deposit is paid that day too; its amount and refund term are in the listing.

No transfers before arrival

A request to pay earlier, to “secure the booking” or to pay by a link in the chat is a reason to press “Report”.

Search order: first what fits the dates and the place, then verified homes with reviews. Equal ones come in random order, which changes once a day.

For stays without money AbsoHome takes nothing — 0%, as the rules say. That can change only with notice in advance and never retroactively.

The full standard 

Privacy

The map shows a district, not a house

Only a guest with a confirmed request sees the exact address. Until then the map shows the district.

Visible before confirmation

  • The district — a filled hexagon, no point on the house: ≈ 0.74 km² in a city, ≈ 5.2 km² in a village.
  • Distances to sessions nearby — from the district, rounded.
  • Dates a house stands empty (house-sitting, exchange) — only to signed-in members, and only by month.

Opens after confirmation

  • The exact address and the host’s contacts — only to the guest with a confirmed request.
  • The address stays open until check-out day and one day after.
  • The host sees who opens the address and when.
  • The platform keeps no door codes: the code comes in the chat on the day of arrival.

demoThe demo has no addresses at all: the hexagon is drawn around an approximate point in the district. In the working version the district is a cell of the H3 grid, computed on the server.
